Who We Are
Makueni Youth Network was formed and registered in August 2014 as a Community Based Organization (CBO). Founders of this network strongly believed that young people can be a pivotal generation to positively transform this nation and the world at large.
Specifically, the network envisions to: (a) empower and inspire young people through developing their skills and talents; (b) increase youth employment and entrepreneurship; and (c) expanding the networking and mentorship opportunities. In order to attain these broader objectives, Makueni Youth Network offers innovative trainings and research that are necessary to help young people to access entrepreneurial, education, employment, and leadership opportunities.
The failure to invest in youth reflects a lack of
compassion and a colossal failure of common sense.
