Our Programs
"Good habits formed at youth make all the difference."
Education, Knowledge Development, and Research
We strongly believe that youth issues have not been well dealt-with by governments and development agents because there has been little data existing about youth dynamics. As a result, Makueni Youth Network strives to partner with credible research organizations to aid in developing accurate and current youth information in diverse fields such as health, agriculture, education, employment, business, access to finance, and even youth participation in democratic processes.
We work with development partners such as Zizi Afrique, Uwezo Twaweza, Usawa Agenda, Poverty Eradication Network, ActionAid, and Elimu Yetu Coalition to improve access to inclusive education for children from marginalized and disadvantaged families and People With Disabilities (PWDs). We further promote social inclusion for young people with disabilities, supporting them to benefit not only from opportunities for accelerated learning, but also career and life skills development.
