Educational Research

We work with Usawa Agenda and Zizi Afrique Foundation to conduct Annual Learning Assessments on literacy, numeracy, and competencies, and share the evidence gathered to inform policy and practice. These assessments help us understand the real learning outcomes among children and youth in Makueni County, enabling us to identify gaps, highlight success stories, and push for data-driven educational reforms. Through this collaboration, we aim to ensure that every learner not only accesses education but acquires meaningful skills that prepare them for life and work. By bringing evidence to the forefront, we empower stakeholders—government, educators, parents, and communities—to make informed decisions that improve learning environments and outcomes for all.
