Advocacy

This program advances youth’s rights and freedom in Kenya. Our conviction is that young people must fully enjoy their human rights while advancing their social, economic, education, and political interests. We belief that young people are majorly disadvantaged due to irresponsible conduct of public affairs that leads to mismanagement of public resources, processes and institutions. As a result, we strongly believe that building democratic, accountable, and inclusive systems and institutions is essential to youth development, transforming communities and achieving sustainable development. We thus recognize that meaningful participation of conscious young people can reduce unequal access to public goods and improve service delivery at all levels.

We also advocate for establishment of healthy communities through inclusive education systems that support young people to develop sustainable and resilient livelihoods. We work to improve access to, and delivery of health services, inclusive family planning and sexual and reproductive health services. Our focus is reducing inequalities in access to modern contraceptives among adolescents, people with disabilities and poor rural youth and women.
